Ok, I’m ready. When do we leave? Acqua e Vino Travel has two trips planned for 2024 - the EMILIA ROMAGNA (April 24 -May 4) and the Emilia Romagna BIKE TOUR (September 11 - September 20 (INFO TBD).
How long is the trip? The Emilia-Romagna trip is 11 days and 10 nights. The Emilia-Romagna BIKE TOUR trip is 10 days and 9 nights.
Where will we be staying? We will be staying in beautiful resorts and/or top-quality hotels during our tour.
What will our days look like? Our days will be combine relaxation and/or exploring time with a variety of day trips to immerse ourselves in the experience of genuine Italy. See our Emilia-Romagna and Emilia Romagna BIKE TOUR pages to give you a better idea of some of the things we will be doing. Please note that our itineraries are as accurate as they can be this far ahead of the trips but are subject to minor variations.
Where will we eat? We will have our breakfasts and dinners together in high-end restaurants. Some lunches will take place on your own time as you explore some of the larger centres we will visit.
How much will this fabulous travel experience cost? The cost for Emilia-Romagna Tour in April is $3599 PP (before Jan 31st 2025) or $3750 after Jan 31st. The cost for the Emilia Romagna Bike Tour in Sept is $3950. The price is per person and will be based on double occupancy. FEB 28 2025 IS THE FINAL DEADLINE for BOOKING
What is included in the price? The price includes: commuting shuttles, 4-star resorts, tours of all cities, tastings, tickets for attractions and museums, cooking class, daily transport in tours with Mercedes minibuses, breakfasts and dinners in high-end restaurants.
What is not included? Flights and personal insurance are not included and must be booked independently. The daily meals not included in the package are some lunches that take place in free time. Gratuities are not included – they are not mandatory and can be decided by your group. The 2024 group paid $120 Euros per person; the money was collected and given to the tour leader to distribute to guides, drivers and servers.
How do I secure my spot? A $2,000 CAD per person deposit is required to hold your spot. The balance will be due by Jan 31st 2025. A $2,350 CAD per person deposit is required to hold your spot between Feb 1st and Feb 28.
What about cancellation fees? In the event of a cancellation by a pair of participants the deposit will be withheld to cover out-of-pocket expenses. In the event that only one person (of a participating couple) cancels the reservation and the other attends, the attending person will be required to cover the fee as a single participant fee. If for any reason the trip should be cancelled by the organization, you will receive a refund of your full deposit. The trip will be confirmed only upon reaching a minimum of 10 participants and, in any case, by March 1, 2025. It is recommended to wait for confirmation before booking your flight to Italy. The airport to land in Italy is Bologna Airport (BLQ).
How many people will be in our group? The maximum number of people who can participate is 16/18 people (8/9 pairs).

Is there help available if I want to extend my vacation? We are happy to recommend other places to visit based on your interests. We can also help book hotels and transportation if needed. A free one-hour consultation is included in your fee. Any additional time will be billed separately.
